Terms of service
Draft · pending legal review
A plain-language draft of the terms for using FamilyDiet. The final wording is still under legal review.
Using FamilyDiet
FamilyDiet helps your household plan and log meals with per-member portions. It is guidance, not medical or dietetic advice — check with a professional before making significant changes for anyone with medical needs.
Your account
You sign in through Keycloak, including Google sign-in when you choose it. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure. One family is one tenant; you decide who in your household can use it.
Trials and subscriptions
Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe, our payment processor — FamilyDiet never sees or stores your card details. Prices are shown on the pricing section and may change with notice; the price you see at checkout is the price you pay for that term.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. You can export or delete your data whenever you want (see the privacy page).
Acceptable use
Use FamilyDiet for your own household. Do not attempt to access other families’ data, disrupt the service, or use it to break the law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; we will make the current version available here and note when it was last changed.
